Students:
Students are allowed to borrow books from the library for two weeks at a time and are allowed two renewals on any book.
5th and 6th grade students are allowed to borrow two books. 7th and 8th grade students are allowed to borrow three.
Teachers/Staff:
Most resources and technology are loaned to staff out for the entire year (unless otherwise noted at check out).
The library has a collection of technology available for staff use, including computers/laptops, projectors, overheads and document cameras.
Borrowing an Elmo:
Staff may borrow an Elmo on a weekly basis by filling out the form to the right. Requests will be filled on first come/first serve basis, and I will notify the staff via email when all Elmos have been checked out.
Schedules:
The library is, at it's heart, a place of learning. With that in mind I handle the scheduling in a way that hopefully allows the most people to enjoy the benefits of library while keeping the focus on education. You can see the upcoming schedule either here in the library or by visiting the calendar page of this website.
In general classes that need to use the library for projects or classwork will be given priority over classes who want to use the library for free time, but I will do my best to accommodate everyone. If there is testing and the library is needed for that process then other classes will be rescheduled. I will do my best to notify everyone of schedule changes as soon as they arise.
Classes and students may be asked to leave the library at my discretion if students are not following the school and/or library rules.
Printing:
Please limit printing to school work only. If you have any questions please see me.
